Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Aurora, Carrie and I took a nice boat ride around the lake and East river today. I bass fished a bit and missed three pigs and landed a dink. The water temps ranged from 77 to 80 degrees. Too damn hot in the hot tub.

The most interesting part of our trip came as we were pulling into the river side of the Black Rock. We witnessed about one-third of the break wall by Rich Marine collapse into the canal. It was surreal to say the least. The wall collapsing caused about a 3 foot wake in the canal. Impressive and scary. I don't plan on trolling as tight to the walls in the canal this fall as I usually do.

Good day
Frank had pics on Sunday of another part that had collapsed. They blamed the Cor o Eng for dredging to close??
Here we go?

Roughly two-thirds of that wall is gone now. I would not be surprised if the last third is at the bottom of the canal the next time I go out. Could be an interesting place to chuck lures at this fall...

What ya' know, another FAS.  Looks like we started a trend.
