decent perch fishing day
Janko and I went perchfishing today. Tried to the sbhbut there was a truck blocking the launch entrance with a sign CLOSED. Drove back to grand island to try the river...launched at blue water went over to brunson, gas dock, and by the kayak launch No luck!!! Tons of ice comming down, however there was none withing 100yrds or so of the shore as far as I could see.
We pulled the boat out after 2hrs of nothing.We decided to take a few casts in the marina and WOW what a surprise! !! Stayed for about 2hrs and threw smaller ones back!
