Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Good day to fish.

I was fortunate to get a joy ride on John Pensyl's  new boat yesterday. My first time on a fiberglass musky vessel and I couldn't believe the difference in the ride; smooth as butter, gentle as a lamb!

After looking at the water at the ramp, looking at water temp 43, looking at the overcast sky, looking at the weather, soft winds and overcast ALL day and knowing moonrise was 723 just after dark,
not only was I tingling but I could also smell musky in the air...

First drift John had one hit a ROB and just as he said it’s BIG he dropped it! Now I’m really excited ! A few more drifts In UN2 and one Cucumber drift we went back to the west side.

Neither of us had anything to eat yet so we started to troll. Before my second bite of my pork chop havarte and cranberry sauce slider, my rod went off! I was in such amazement that a musky wanted to play with me, I froze in awe n astonishment! If John didn’t slap awake and scream “THAT’S A FISH” I might not have moved !!! Really! I gotta get out more!  The fish broke my year two year curse! Numbered 748 now.

Went quiet the rest of the day light until a
X member Gabe Edwards called for a pic he had a 50. So we ran over to help. To find it already tagged. One that John tagged for Reily H last year fairly close to same spot. Gabe told us he just released a 44 also so he was a happy happy dude. He got them both where we had gone through a few times so it made us wonder?

We planned to stay till moon rise so we went back at it. 6:22 Johns turn. A nice 46.5. We started to think this could get good with the moon coming.  Kept at it till two hours after moonrise, with nothing going on.

John was working his live map hard too.
That Helix just went on the list absolutely incredible contour lines! I think it make my head explode with that much info locked inside.
8 -10 it was a good day to fish
Good friends
Great stories
Cooperative fish
Tagged a couple
That’s why I’m here
Thanks again, John.  Yesterday was one of the days I’ll never forget.

JoJo, it's a little odd when clickers go off when you haven't heard one in awhile. Great report and congratulations on a non Pepe Le Pew season.

Joe Soldaczewski, Dave Gorski and I were out yesterday and went 2.5 for 4 fishing mainly in East River. Joe landed an absolute beast after a short battle and spectacular net job by Dave and than the unthinkable happened. At least we got the pic in the net.

Nice reports! Thx, gents. Good to hear that tagged fish are being caught. Says everything is working

I once saw a man lose a few thousand dollars worth of fish when a mid-forty or so swam out a hole in his net while fishing the PMTT in Shelbyville, IL.

Great day on the water. I know we are Catch & Release but this was a new release procedure!
