Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished from 8 to 830 on Sunday. Don and I fished the usual drifts, not much action until he popped nice fish in front of strawberry. Casting bite that we got to watch come in on the lure. Big news, it was already Tagged! so number 047 came and ate, and was set back into the water.

We tried drifting my most productive run most of the afternoon after picking up our third fisherman at the dock. A few missed bites, no hit, but teeth marks on the tubes.

We moved further up river along the bridge and further down into lunge lane.

Most frustrating day I've ever had fishing, as we all had 2-3 opportunities each, at least a couple hookups, but no fish boated. I had a VERY heavy fish max out my St Croix and bend it right over, only for it to come off after two turns of the handle. Tube had two nice sized chunks missing from the middle; sure wasn't a walleye.

Heartbroken and out of daylight we returned to the docks, and the guys talked shop with Carl who was leaving for night fishing while I packed up the boat.

Season total's 7 for me, 13 for the boat, 6 tagged, 1 recapture.
