Guys-

 

Now that we know that the Eagle pair on Strawberry Island is actively incubating eggs, human intrusion into the buffer area around the nest is strictly prohibited. Essentially, no one is permitted to be within 330 feet of the nest during the nesting season, which will typically last until the end of August. This restriction follows state and federal guidelines and I respectfully ask for your cooperation in honoring this. I know that you were planning to wrap additional trees to prevent beaver damage in April, but you will have to wait until September for this part of your stewardship activity.
