Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Weather forecast for this coming week appears to be quite stable, and sunny with a warming trend this weekend. Depending on the wind, which doesn't seem like much, water could be clear and calm. That could make for tough daytime fishing. Best times probably early morning and night.

But water temps still seem to be down a bit. When I was out on Friday surface temps in the mid to upper 50s in both the harbor and river. Weather Service has a reading of 60 degrees (deep measurement) this am. Will probably go up as the opener approaches. Wouldn't be surprised to see 65 or higher by Saturday. Still, everything seems to be behind by a week or two, including little weed growth or moss. So you never know what's nearby.

Of course, you never really know what could happen on opening day.
