Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I know all about getting caught in storms.1st time big outboard motor quit and I was off Point Abino, on the way back with the Honda 15 hp the Thunder storm's rolled in with 35 mph winds and heavy rain.By the time I got back to Sheridan Launch I was drenched, the boat had 4" of water in the deck with the bilge pump running. The carpet hairs were standing up and so were the hair on my arms, not a good feeling when those lightening bolts are striking all around you!

thanks.  Tommy caught a 36'' a while later as the winds were starting to pick up.  We received a call from my daughter saying to bail around 11:30, but pushed one more pass and the lightning slowed but the wind seemed to double in seconds and we were in whitecaps.  Rain began while heading into the launch and a Border Patrol came out and helped keep the boat from being tossed into the dock as Tommy got the trailer.  She got a bit wet, but Tommy got the boat on with the waves occasionally slurping over the back of the boat.  10 minutes later the wind and rain was past.  Fun night out..
