Chautauqua Opens May 30th?
Sorry boys and girls if this has been discussed already but I have been out of the loop. I just heard anglers discussing fishing the opener on Chautauqua May 30th?? Is this for real?

The new NY general regulation for muskies is now last Sat. in May till Nov 30th. Minimum size is now 40". This is for all inland waters.
The Great Lakes is still 3rd Sat in June til Nov 30th except from Lower Niagara to the St. Lawrence ends Dec 15th (including Lake Ontario). Minimum size for ALL Great Lakes waters including Erie, Upper and Lower Niagara and St Lawrence is now 54".
I am not sure about tribs to Great Lakes waters, if any of them deviate in regard to min. size or season dates. You would have to check with special regs to be sure.
