Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Forced myself out into the east winds last night because last year the night before the picnic gave me my personal best so...caught one fish for my effort. 43.5" and also a personal best for night fishing alone.  Tried to use GoPro at night but it didn't work out well.  Need to figure which settings to use.  Any help on this would be appreciated.

lightning fish tonight! call ya.

Well how did you do last night?Any Lightning Lunge?

Met up with Tom last night as soon as the radar looked doable.  As we launched we could see a little far off lightning but the river was like a sheet of glass.  Made a pass across and back and after Tom turned the boat upstream I had a strong hook-up, short and steady fight, and Tom did good work with the net, 41"er. Easy release and gone instantly to the depths. Fished for a couple more hours but no other action other than more lightning towards the end and shore lights slowly disappearing into the fog.  Fished yesterday morning pounding some deep water in un12 with Scott K but no fish for our effort.
