Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

My brother Bruce, who is the biggest San Francisco Giants fan I know, and I hit the river for a little bass and musky fishing in anticipation of tonight's National League wild card playoff game. Let's just say I was the Madison Bumgarner of bass fishing today. And while I didn't hang zeros on Bruce, I did catch waaaayyyy more smallies si much so that he must have felt like a Mets fan after MadBum shut down their favorite team this evening to solidify his stranglehold as the greatest pitcher in MLB history. All of my numerous fish were in the 18 inch range and they all were fat. In the little musky fishing we did I did catch a stout 35" casting a Niagara Walleye Depth Raider in UN5 for my first Niagara musky of 2016. I'm up to about 10 hours now and that's pretty much my career average, but popping my first of the season in October is a little weird.

Around 5 we called it a day of fishing and helped our buddy remove his giagantic-enormous new boat from the water.

Great day: Fishing with your beloved little brother and taking him to school at the same time, helping out a great friend remove his yacht and sitting down to an epic pitching battle of the greatest sport ever? Beat that with a stick...

That's MLB post season history. I love MadBum, but there are a ton of guys ahead of him on the all-time list.
Let's name them all. I'll start... Steve Norman Carlton. Who's next...
Cool how the bass just showed up. Things were Mia for 4 months and now back in force.

I don't know about baseball being the best sport ever, but I was out yesterday as well and the fishing was decent.  Lost one jigging and got a 37" casting up shallow and saw a few more.   I tried bass for about an hour shallow but didn't see much.    Did this "schooling" happen in deeper waters?

17 to 20.
