Small Boat Harbor Access

Good news harbor hounds! I just spoke with a gentleman at the Small Boat Harbor. They plan on leaving in one dock at the launch by the restaurant for as long as the weather allows.

Excellent, Scott. Good work!

I received an email from the Concerned Citizens of the Outer Harbor in which they sent their comments to the DEC on the proposed Harbor Dredging and access. The DEC's comments address the status of the Harbor as a Significant Coastal Habitat by the Dept of State, ice fishing access, access to the water by the public and boaters, the significant wild celery that is growing inside the SBH and the various areas to be dredged.

I'll shoot the email to you, Scott & probably end up writing a short article for our newsletter. The topic is definitely of interest to anyone who uses that area.
