Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

A good day and a great night. Jojo finally popped his 2016 cherry.  After 16 hours of wishing, breaking in a new boat, learning to use new graph and not much wishing time on the water, BOOM . A black Mr Toothy in 11 FOW turned a head.  I decided to go down river for a change last night.  Across the river from Tonawanda Island in my old stomping I found my thrill, again.  Sometimes I forget the fish come and go but a spot , a ridge, a hump, a rock or rock pile, an island, a water intake is always “a spot”. The river has been worn down after thousands of years of perpetual energy and water, flow the fish know every water current break so they just sit and wait for one of the world’s largest buffet lines in bring them dinner.  After wishing the river for 20 years I only need enough TOTW ( time on the water) to turn a head. Actually, the 16 hours it took to catch one is only a couple hours over my life time average HPF, (hours per fish). Info I have gathered from a lifetime of Angler diary studies for the state.

So remember, if you wish long enough, hard enough, and smart enough as with most things in life, it will work out.

JoJo your passion for fishing the Mighty Niagara is a true inspiration.  You always remind me of why I fell in love with fishing so many years ago.

Thanks brother Jayman
