Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Just finished up putting the last entry in the angler diary for the season and did a little math. I personally fished for muskies 50 days on the upper/lower river and buffalo harbor for a total of 307.25 hours. Most trips are about 6 hours with a few long days and few quick trips thrown in. Preferred times are definitely between 3am and 9am. Total angler hours on my boat were 585.75 hours with all but 5 solo trips being 2 anglers. We landed 106 fish total so that's 1 musky every 5.52 angler hours or roughly 1 coming to the boat every 2.75 hours total.

The largest fish was 49.5 inches, the smallest was 28 inches. Average size was 38.77 inches. Time to catch up on sleep.

Now that is crazy effort! Well done!

You guys are animals!!...Congratulations on a job well done.  I'm envious.  And may you have many, many more years of good musky fishing.  You make our club proud.

Great season John! You better catch up on a lot of sleep before next season starts.

Fantastic stat   Congrats on the season.  You da man

Great work " Guns" , both at showing how it's done and taking the time to show how to give something back! Diary studies are priceless and timeless. Incredible report.
Happy happy holidays to all
I only want one thing for Xmas??
Alabalabala jojoout
I had some time today so I wanted to see if my muskie size average was close to John's.I had 29 Days fishing the Upper Niagara River and clients & I caught 49 Muskies.232 total hours of angler effort,4.73 hours per Muskie,1.6 Muskies per Day and 35.8" Average out of 49 Muskies.I missed 25 days of September,17 days of October and 16 days of November as well.
The Upper Niagara River seems to be doing very well with both catch rates and size. The Buffalo Harbor is in desperate need of habitat restoration very soon or that fishery may be lost totally!
