Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished the Harbour today from 12 noon until 4:30pm.
No fish, only boat in lot.

Water color was a greenish/white, not anywhere close to brown which I was expecting.

Visibility 2 to 2.5 feet.

Spent all time in South Gap and out into the lake.
Behind wall temp was 47.2degF in lake 47.8degF

Dave: Mike Crehan and I will see you in the South Gap on Wednesday. That is, in your boat in the South Gap. If you and Josh want to get a big one, leave your net in the truck. That works pretty good.

I trolled the North Gap,Center Gap,South Gap and out in the Lake.Nothing happened in our boat either.Did not mark much in big hooks!
I think I'll use that trick tomorrow Frank, need something to change my luck haha.
Plus I can get Josh to perform his world acclaimed Babe Winkleman boatside hand landing technique, I'm sure he is a bit rusty

If you really want to guarantee a fish, leave your camera and phone in your truck.

Mike Crehan and Frank fished the harbor Wed from 8:30 to 2:15. Saw Dave Martin and Josh Ketry in the same areas.  We landed four plastic bags and one burlap bag. This is why musky fishing is not an Olympic Sport.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Frank...was the bag a largemouth Hefty?  They put up the best fight.

I have had clients reel in what they thaught was a giant musky! One was a Christmas Tree with metal stand with Angel on top covered with zebra muscles like lights and a prize Depthraiders in Niagara Walleye color stuck in the branches. Bur the best one was Dean E. netting a deer in the back of the Coke Channel, trolling out with it in the net, letting it go by the shore to the left coming out.The deer shook off the water like a dog and looked back and went along its way. Then there was the time that Andy Luckovick thaught he had the record musky on.He got it near the surface 4 times only to have it go back to the bottom. Finally on the 5 th time and over 30 minutes later we slipped the net under a dink.We were having a hard time dragging the net to the boat side, attached to one of the hooks not in the muskies mouth was a rope. After pulling up 10 ft of rope was attached a cement cinder block.
You never know what your going to catch in the Harbor!

That must have been one Charlie Brown Christmas tree!

Did you at least get a picture of the burlap bag? Quite a catch...
