Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Spring has traditionally been the time to book fishing trips for me over the years. From the booze-fueled chaotic devolutionary trips to the abyss of yesteryear to the vacation oriented trips with Carrie to the serious fish all day trips with Tony, each trip (at least the ones I can remember) hold a special place for me. I was hoping our members would share maybe a story or two from their experiences and alert us to upcoming trips to make us jealous. What do you say, team?

Carrie and I are headed to The Rock with our Labrafor puppy Aurora this August. Aurora loves, and I mean LOVES, the water and although I really want the boat to pop a monster, I am really looking forward to playing and exploring with my doghter in the Shield. I can't wait to see her up there.

Tony and I will be headed back to Nipissing in September with hopes of some stable weather and extending Tony's insane streak of catching at least one musky per trip there, which is quite an accomplishment when you consider how many times he's been to the Big Nip.

I'll share a few stories from my trips with the boys later. I'll just have to remember them and clean them up a bit.

While I've got you, is there any interest in a NMA outing to help celebrate our 25th year in 2019? Where would you like to see us go? Sure, that's a long way away, but I was interested to see if there was any interest.

Good Day Boys and Girls

Funny Scott should post this today, for today I leave for my Florida Keys trip.

If all goes as planned, tomorrow I should be fishing on "Tarpon Run" off of Summerland Key.

Just like Trent said "they keep calling me...", the tarpon that is.

Saturday we plan on heading out in the gulf to find the Shrimp Boats and the masses of Tuna that eat the bi-catch as the crews clean the nets.

More at Eleven.

Scott, maybe you could post my report from two years ago?

Go get 'em, tiger! Best of luck! ABB...

It ain't muskies & it ain't saltwater, but I just came back from a week-long trip to the booming town of Roscoe, NY in the Catskills.  It was dry fly fishing the Beaver Kill, the Willowemoc & the Delaware's East Branch 3X a day, once in the a.m., lunch, again in the p.m., dinner & then the evening hatch 'til dark using caddis, usuals, blue wing olives, serendipitys and march browns.  here's a pic of Barnhart's Hole at the Beav-K.

That is awesome, John. Really cool trip.
Nice trip and pics
