Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Lost a heartbreaker this eve.... this one will haunt me! Don't think I could have done anything differently, just couldn't keep her pinned.

Scott, you got that right. You have to be into delayed gratification to be a musky fisherman.

Nate,

All the fish I lose make the ones I land all the more sweet!

A bummer you missed that one. Now only another 9,999 casts to go.

I saw her broadside when the fly came out of her mouth, tough to say exactly how long but I would have to guess upper 40's.... maybe bigger. Very thick too. Not the first heartbreaker I've lost.... just the most recent. I'll get over it.... plus I know where she lives now.

How big was this "heartbreaker"? The longer you fish for muskies the more heartbreakers you will accumulate. I've written this numerous times, but I still dream of the biggest fish I have ever seen that made the Plow it spit at me look like a Husky Jerk out in the big pond 16 years ago. I'd tell you not to dwell on your experience, but that would make me a hypocrite.
