Santa?

It's show and tell time, kids. Did Santa or your Mrs. Claus bring you anything for Christmas? Did you treat yourself to any new toys? Let's hear about them.

Carrie surprised me with a Revo Rocket bass reel and I surprised myself by spending a wad of cash on a Megabass rod.

The reel is pretty amazing. It weighs only 6.75 ounces, pulls in 37 inches per crank and has 25 pounds of drag. Hello, froggy reel! Acting on the advice of Frank DiMarcantonio, a wizard of spending other people's money, I picked up a Megabass 7'9" heavy action bass rod which he claims is perfect for hauling big buckets out of the slop. Now I just have to find some big buckets and some slop. I wonder how the weather in Florida is these days?
