Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished solo last night from 630 PM till 1030 PM.  I was not sure how good the fishing would be with the cold front that had just come through, but in the first 15 minutes of the first drift in front of Strawberry Island, "FISH ON".  Unfortunately, it turned out to be a wet sock, oops a walleye.  It was a 29" walleye that actual put up a fight, but I am still going to refer to them as wet socks.  As the time moved on I thought that would be it for this trip, but I took great consolation in the fact that the sunset was spectacular (picture below).  Fortunately, I was mistaken about not having anymore action.  As I made my last turn of the night heading from lunge lane towards the Canadian shore line I hooked up with a nice clean 40.5" lunge (tag # 110).  The moss was very minimal and trolling up, down and cross current was not an issue.

John, that's not only some sunset, that will be the site's new background image. Scott, please zap to it to me.
Amazing shot Scott. I'd take that over the fish these days. Great pic..
