Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished from 8-4 with Don.
Tony was nice enough to deliver a tagging gun at 730 dockside.
Did a quick drift or two of Frenchman's to no avail. Rolled up to Sea World to try before boater traffic made it un-fishable. Saw a couple musky in the sand, couldn't get them to look twice at a lure. Did an experimental drift from along the weeds, down past the train bridge, ending even with the strawberry humps- nothing promising.
Don started the day with a nice 40" fish on the american side of strawberry drift. Almost lost my net, but he recovered it with a near perfect swan dive.
Tried a few more of the tried and true drifts, nothing.
now 12:00 we switched it up and moved spots and I ended up with a 36" and then a nice 40" that absolutely T-boned my tube. Boat traffic was extra heavy, and boat control was a real pain while getting swamped by the big cruisers' wakes. Bite slowed right down and after 4 or 5 drifts without a sniff, we called it a day.
Finished the day with 3 total, all sporting fresh tags.
Season total for me 5, for the boat 9. Tagged 3.

Neat report! Thanks, Sean! I pretty much quit fishing the weekends. Just not worth it. It would also be nice if the recreational boaters knew the rules & used some courtesy. The weekends are challenging.
Sean,
Sounds like a good fishing day and great start to the season for you! Shows that the boat traffic bothers us anglers more than the muskies.
