Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

The DEC (Chris D & Justin B) are "ON" for tagging two muskies in the Harbor on Sunday, Nov 10, beginning 8:00 a.m.

Here are some details:

1. They need to tag only two muskies. Once tagged, the DEC is done for the day

2. The DEC will be in the Harbor 11/10 regardless if there is a Wittek going on or not. If the Wittek is rescheduled for the 10th, then you'll be also fishing the Wittek.

3. They will be setup at 8:00 a.m.

4. The musky has to be from the Harbor or out in Lake Erie, but preferably in the Harbor. River fish will NOT be tagged.

5. The DEC is working on getting a call-in cell phone number. Get a musky, call the magic number, they will come over & do the rest.

6. LEAVE THE FISH IN THE NET IN THE WATER UNTIL THEY ARRIVE. Surgery's a little stressful & we don't want to stress out the fish any more than the fight. This is NOT a tourney or a contest so there aren't any prizes

7. Don't play the fish or cause undue stress. Get him or her in & make the call

8. As always, all this will depend on the weather. Watch this website

9. Jojo will coordinate the "Tagging Armada"

10. Respond to this post if you'll be participating.

John Miller: The DEC is scheduling 11/31 to remove the receivers & their crew will keep their eyes out for your fire-tiger plow.  Let's hope it's snagged on a receiver

John- Josh Kane snagged some green braided line in the exact location where I lost the plow. Unfortunately he couldnt get the lure to budge and ended up breaking the line just like I did. Hoping the plow is snagged securely to the receiver. its got "mental" value to me- ha!

John M:  I know what you mean. "mental" value usually is the most important
