Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Great minds think alike, Scott.  I jotted down a list & the 1st item was super lines & then GPS with bottom contours, followed by magnetic brakes in casting reels.  I see an article coming together here.  How about contour following electric trollers (and anchoring systems), ball bearing swivels & synthetic fly tying materials (for those of us who shadow cast)?

What else do you guys have that has made a difference?

Gas and electric powered engines and motors?  The amazing advances in sonar and the advent of GPS?  Superlines?  Gore-Tex?  Graphite rods?  Advances in reel technology?  M&M's being available in numerous varieties and larger bags?

Steve...I agree. A great newsletter....and when you're at the Nip, who cares is you catch a fish.
I've got in the back of my mind an article for a future newsletter (this year) about the Top 20 Fishing Aides that have since been developed from "the old days." Tony is quite the inspiration.
So, what new thing that's been developed since "the old days" do you think has changed the way we fish?
