Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

I have to send PayPal payment to an email address he gave me in order to get the $20 off and I don't have PayPal. So now, since I can"t do that, I have to decide if I want to pay $50 instead of $30 more for the Chaos rod. I just ordered a Lexa WN4ooH for it.

Go for it, Steve. You'll be happy.

I was looking at the telescopic 9' XH (swat in the Chaos) for an all around versatile rod. TI has a good discount for MI members but Rick Albers offered a bit of a discount. So the Assault Stick would cost me about $30 more than the similar TI. I guess they both use SS guide rings now. I am leaning toward the Assault Stick since I have heard nothing but good things about them.

When we finally have a banquet or picnic there will be Chaos trolling rods on the tables. They are upstairs right now. Really nice sticks.

Cullen used to use the TI rods. They were great sticks, nice and light with a great bend. James Haworth has great customer service and always backed his product with a $60 replacement gaurantee. The issue was they changed something in the blanks along the line and they became time bombs. Every rod was on a countdown to its demise the day it came out of its tube after delivery. Its the only rod I started to expect to explode every time cullen had it loaded up. The new chaos assault sticks are amazing rods. The "shock and awe" is the best big rubber rod out there and the "swat" is a great multi purpose rod. Warranty and service are great and the telescopic feature has really grown on me especially with the 9'6" sticks. If I didnt already own blue st. croixs all my rods would be chaos. The trolling sticks are also 2nd to none. The 8, 9, and 10 ft trolling rods have amazing reel seats and a nice thick handle and the action will make you realize how inempt all the trolling rods you owned before really were. Definitely reccomend buying from Rick Albers as hes a great guy with a great product he stands behind 100% of the time.

I've never used a Tackle Industries rod, but I have used the Chaos Tackle Shock and Awe. Solid rod. Decent components. If you are looking to chuck giant globs of goo the Shock and Awe is your rod. Chaos also makes lighter rods that I imagine are also quality.
