Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Jigger the river today 830am until 2pm with Andy Panz. 1st drift he popped a nice high 30s fish. 2nd drift I landed a nice high 30s fish from same area. Just before 2pm aftwr fishing all day without another bite we both decided that there would probably be another bite window around 3pm but we were cold and wanted to quit. So we quit. 310pm I got a text from my friend Mark who was fishing solo that he finally caught his first jigging fish and mid 30s dink. At 320 he sends me pictures of a 48x23 laying on his bumpboard. Guess that 3pm window was worth waiting for. Lol

The girth on some of the November fish caught makes me wish there was a way to track their movements with GLATOS. I have a hard time believing some of these fish aren't summering in Lake Erie.

John...did you get another gun, needle & tags? If not, please post & I can pick up for you & meet you at the ramp of it's inconvenient

Carl...there are a lot of "if's" but there's a chance they could have been picked up. Ten fish were tagged in the Harbor and there's still a receiver on the buoy near Strawberry (buoy #13(?)). IF the fish is a tagged one and IF it went close to the buoy, then we'd know it migrated from the harbor/Lake to the river. IF it also went close enough to Nicholl's Marine before that receiver was pulled, then it could have gotten picked up on that one too. That's a lot of "if's" to happen. In May, there will be 10 more tagged

My beliefs are that both the harbor and the river have migrant and resident fish, but they are not necessarily the same fish. You don't need glatos to realize none of these fish were here a week ago. The river was empty last week. Modern electronics don't leave room for a minnow to hide let alone a 4 foot fish. I got excited 50x over the size of a fish I saw on sonar, side or down imaging today. Last Wednesday I barely found a bass. They just weren't here. JJ I haven't picked up another needle yet. The last 4 to the boat had no tags in them and I was unable to tag them. I also have non members who I know are catching fish and they've yet to see a tag. Cinelli has been checking also. Nothing yet.

John P...Thx. I'll contact Tony & he or I will try to connect with you to get you a tag. I'm sure, if he's able, that he'll do it but I'm available also. Someone will let you know.

John J.,

Just a thought but was there ever a discussion about putting GLATOS tags on two or three fall river big girls as part of the study? Or would it be difficult to do because of unpredictable and constantly changing fall weather? Maybe that would help to answer some of the questions about the river, harbor and lake population movements.
