Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

The event horizon of the black hole of suck that follows me wherever I fish has sucked in another victim at the speed of light, Riley Vacinek.

Jojo and I started with a windblown jig drift around 8am. The clearing water of yesterday was merely a memory. After some trolling in the triangle, and numerous communications with musky anglers from around the continent and a few Pike anglers from Europe, Jojo discovered Riley was in town. We invited him out with us.

Since the trim on my kicker decided not to work this morning, we had to troll to the foot of Sheridan to pick up Riley. Unfortunately for us, by the time we arrived the wind had picked up considerably. Grabbing Riley from the dock was interesting to say the least. The aft was half underwater as I finally spun my whip and pointed the bow into the waves.

This was all of our excitement for the day. We trolled from Motor to the south Grand Island bridge and back, across Strawberry, the triangle and all points in between until 6:45pm.

Nothing. Zippo. Bupkiss. Skunked. Goose egg. Zero.

Sorry, Riley. The stink that is my skunk may take years to wash off. Is there a perch association looking for a board member?

Back out on Sunday to try and drown the black and white sonuvabitch for good.

Ma nature really didn't play nice last night. Being greeted with a grey brown mixture in the harbor this am was heartbreaking.
