Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

After fishing the last 2 nights I wasn't sure if I could motivate but Tom and I did a "I'll go if you go" conversation and I hooked up the boat and headed for the launch. Fished a couple hours with no action when I trolled near Tom. He yelled over that one of us was going to get slammed and after another 30 yards my lure felt like it got hung up for second. When it started moving again a fish did slam it. Hookset was automatic and I knew pretty quickly that it was on. The fish bulldogged shaking its head all the way into view and then shot directly under me. Clear water let me get a good look at it as it dove under..tank! As it swam in a circle under the back of the boat I grabbed the net and got it down into the water in time for the fish to complete its circle and glide in perfectly. Happy man. I called Tom over and handed him the camera and prepared the bumpboard. Hooks were out of the fish but the net was still behind its teeth. Pliers took care of that and I lifted  the fish up. Click, click, bump, straighten fish a little better, bump, back into the water.  I probably held the fish for half a minute before I felt it wanted to go. It swam about 15 ft and then kicked powerfully down and out of sight. New moon strikes again.
