Fishing report 7-7-20

Decided to follow Tommy up to Strawberry last night. East river hasn't been generous to me so far. Shortly after 10:00 I caught a 34"ish beautifully spotted muskie. Fish unhooked itself, quick water measurement and when I dipped the net the fish shot out and straight down. Tommy hooked up a bit later and netted a 43" that snagged up near the rim and luckily didn't get away. That one needed some time before it disappeared below the surface. Water was 75°. Sure hope it doesn't get any warmer..
