Gravity and cold hands

I can be such an idiot at times…  I use to have a nifty little dry bag loaded with all sorts of fun stuff to keep you warm in the winter time.  It was packed with Gore Tex this and Gore Tex that; gloves mittens, balaclavas, etc.  It had a Simms Ex-Stream hat in there that would keep you warm taking a nap on a glacier.  I write of these things in the past tense because I kicked the bag into the River one day last November and I didn’t realize I did it until I went to put on some gloves hours later.  When I went back to the marina, it was gone or stolen (read: found by some lucky sap).  I am in the process of replacing all this stuff and it will cost me a fortune to do so, unless I can get most of it at a discount.  If you see any deals on quality outerwear in the next few months, please let me know about your find.  Thanks.
