Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Here is an excerpt from an E-mail Gregg Thomas distributes hawking charters and such:

Hi everyone I just want to take a moment and let you know what is happening in Kentucky.  First off we just finished the first  leg of the PMTT on Cave Run and it was great success.  There was a total of 61 fish caught over the two days; 6 fish off the all time tournament record.  I would also like to say that my partner David Grochowski and I finished in 5th place and had big fish for the tourney at 45.5". All of our fish where caught on Red October Tubes 10" monster tubes being flipped under docks.  This is an interesting pattern that was found by a friend and fellow guide Chris Haley at Green River lake.  When the shad in southern reservoirs start to spawn they will look for any structure to move up against this includes timber, weeds and even docks.  Now, these docks are in deep water with a lot of cables and other obstructions so you will get hung up a lot.  The fish usually relate just under the dock usually within the top 10ft of water this is a tough pattern one that needs patience.  It is worth it though, producing some really nice fish.  If you fish shad based system give this pattern a try with soft plastics.

Gregg
