Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Thank you, Jay!

Attention all you NMA outdoors women, men and dogs: The ticks are bad this year, really, really bad. Carrie picked up the Tick Mitt from Amazon. We were both skeptical at first, but after pulling four of the blood-sucking, disease-spreading little buggers off our two tick-magnet dogs, we are sold on the product. All you do is rub down yourself, or your dogs with the mitt after a trip to the woods, a pond, etc., and ticks stick to the material like glue. Ticks suck, both literally and figuratively.  Pick up a Tick Mitt today.

Make that six.

I doubt that it will remove any already attached to the skin. So you may still need to check the skin.

The mitt isn't designed to remove ticks attached to skin. Our Pyr mix has an impossible amount of hair. By rubbing her with the Tick Mitt we discovered six unseen ticks from her. Were there more ticks on her? Possibly,  but the Tick Mitt does what it was designed to do very well.
