Bill...for the years I went here's what I brought:
Heavy work gloves, wore long sleeve shirt, long pants, wide brimmed hat, Mucks or hiking boots, sunscreen, bug spray and a couple of bottles of water. You'll be able to bring a small backpack in which to put your stuff.
If the forecast looks like rain, bring rain gear.
When picking up trash a plastic jar with lid, like a peanut butter jar, is handy for putting in broken pieces of glass. The jar will keep the glass from slicing the trash bag.
For tools I would bring Knipex for cutting metal fencing, pliers for bending & a couple of people would usually bring loppers for cutting finger sized branches.
and if you have any meds for an emergency, like an Epi-pen, make sure somebody else besides you knows where it is so they can get to it, if needed. Otherwise, I would bring a personal supply of bandages and gauze. Never needed them but you never know

Jojo always brought contractor's trash bags & zip-ties
