Images

Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Spending $$

Anybody else out there find that they're not spending a lot of money these days? I opened my wallet today & saw George Washington reaching for a pair of sunglasses. Been so long since he saw daylight!

You might have seen two material barges near the mouth of the Union Ship Canal that get loaded & unloaded with boulders. Now there's one barge. The other broke away from its mooring during the big blow & got jammed under the pedestrian walking & biking bridge near Rte 5.…

Christmas Party

A great time, especially catching up with those I don't catch up with as much as I should. That's the best. However, the food was absolutely awesome & many thanks to FAS for his & other musky catching (or attempts to catch) stories

The DEC cancelled their plan to implant the last two transmitters during the Wittek. This DOES NOT affect any plans for the Wittek. If you catch a musky in the Harbor no need to call for the DEC boat but you might still want to call Scott with the measurement, if it's a winner.

There is supposed to be a small craft advisory for the lake tomorrow so it could make transferring a musky from a boater's net to the surgical ship dicey, if not dangerous, so they'll have to wait for the…

Mt. Everest

Nothing to do with fishing. Got a text from my son today. He's finishing up a trek in Nepal that went up from Khatmandu to the first Base Camp of Mt Everest. Here's a pic on the way down. There were no good shots from the Base Camp. Everest is the "small" one off in the distance, in the center…
