Louis: I repair my tubes with a putty knife. I get it hot using a small propane torch and then rub the tube like I'm spreading frosting on a cake. Works fine.

Frank. Yes you can do that. It’s a good idea like spreading frost on a cake. That’s cool method of repair damaged tubes. I like your ideas.
