past week or so
Haven't really been contacting a lot of fish but did tag a 40ish fish about a week ago. Water temperature hit 75 on the river and I decided no more tagging for me til it drops. A couple of blank nights but then did land a 44" and 37" on the same night. Also caught a few good size walleye and a football shaped 21" smallie. Blanked again last night. Had a good time at the Youth Derby watching the faces of the kids as they proudly brought their fish in for measurement. Looking forward to the next one. Always enjoy spending a Saturday getting up early...lol
