On Rte 5 on the way up to the 190 there were prob at least 60 huts on SBH. On the way back I saw a couple of charcoal grilles smoking away & one guy at Gallagher's was sitting in his lawn chair. Someone should have told him it's February. I need some pics. There's a newsletter article somewhere called "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." (maybe)

Nope, but it didn't matter. Had a great time. I tried out my beastly 13' spey rod for the first time. It's a bit long for the narrow water. However, casting to the opposite bank was effortless.
Saw about 5 anglers at the dam & they said t was a slow day. Dan S & I noticed there were big ice floes jammed right where the riffles start & one of the guys said that that they had broken it up so they could fish Burt. Then in the parking lot talked to guy who was out Sat. He didn't even get a nibble
