Based on today’s observed water condition on the mighty Niagara River, personal experience, advice received from international gentleman of leisure Mr. White Folks, and a brief phone conversation with LOTW legend Doug Johnson’s chiropractor’s nephew’s pool cleaner, here is my starting line-up for tomorrow, opening day 2013:

Bucktail: Shmo Double Baloney Slider / black with silver blades

Speed trolling hair: Blue Fox spinnerbait / firetiger

Speed trolling crank: 5” Wiley Musky King / brown pikie

Deep trolling crank 1: Depthraider / Maghran firetiger

Deep trolling crank 2: Mr. Toothy / OBP

Jig: Red October Baits Ninja Tube / black

Casting crank 1: Storm Flatstick / perch

Casting crank 2: Slammer deep diver / Bass

You may want to avoid using these baits tomorrow.  I never do particularly well opening day.  Best of luck everyone and take great care releasing our babies, mommas and daddys.
