Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Tommy, Congrats on the 45" muskie.Sometimes you can leave the fish in the water in the net and hold them upright once you get the hooks out of the way.Wait until the fish can stay upright on its own, then lift the fish out for a very quick picture and back to water revival. This seems to work better when a fish is really stressed from the beginning, instead of adding to the stress by taking from the water right away.Only telling you what works for me, not in any way telling you that you did anything wrong.

that's almost exactly what we did with that fish. dont know  what stressed him out so much? would have drifted to navy if we had to.might head out tonight with carl? lar p.s ran into herby and judy at big catch, they said to say hi.

thanks riley .sent you a message that didn't go through, don't get discouraged! back around 2000 i went through an entire year without a fish, or even a hit (same spots, same lures). everyone goes through a bad streak. still loved it out there, that's the key. a year or two later, i had 11 20+ pounders, gotta keep poundin away.

Tom...I know what you mean, too.  When I started flyfishing for steelies, it took me about three years to get the first one.  After that, I had a good year & better ones after that.

I think confidence has a lot to do with it because until you get the 1st one, you keep asking yourself what you're doing wrong.

Haven't got my 1st 'skie on a fly yet, but I'm not discouraged.  Gotta keep on truckin' !
