"Let's hope. I rarely see a lot of white acorns in the woods. Maybe you will find a stand of them & go thru the planting process.
That's pretty neat what you're doing, though"
"The DEC was all out of whites by the time I made my order so we went with reds. The deer do indeed prefer the sweeter whites but will readily eat the reds if that is all there is. Hopefully get a bunch of whites next year."
