Got out yesterday 2-5
Motor trouble so only has electric which is Realy quite and easy steering from my Minn Kota remote!
I kept reaching for steering wheel?
First troll towards South Bridge rod went and I started shaking my head … that can’t be a fish? Then the tell tale Zip zip zip told grab the rod silly! Fish on ,felt the heads that eluded me last year. Then my buddy goes to extend the net and goes to far pulling it in two? Poop poop and more poop! But he gets it back together and we met the fish. Woow? 32 Bink on the board .
FYI Isle View ramp is CLOSED and under repair / improvements? Why they close a ramp in the middle of summer is intriguing ?
I will say that the Minn Kotas trolling is a wonderful way to go. No noise , no Smell, no steering just adjust auto pilot ,and the Hugh benefit of Spot lock when fish is coming in and in the net
