Hello Team Musky. Today's and next Monday's kids fishing events scheduled for Knox Farm State Park at 5:00pm have both been cancelled. The final kids fishing event on the schedule this year as it stands right now is next Tuesday, the 11th at Beaver Island State Park at 10:00am. Thank you to all who have graciously participated and contributed to making this year a great success! We actually caught some fish!

This one is for JoJo. Fishing Tuesday morning, 6/23/26 with Tom Sickler way in front of Strawberry in 20' of crystal clear water tossing a 2 oz. Duke's Dozer spinner bait. Out of nowhere I get a nice fish chasing the lure in the figure eight. I brought this fish around at least four times and then violently accelerated the lure in a last ditch attempt to get to eat. It did. A 44" fatty that was supremely satisfying to get in the eight!…

Many thanks to youth fishing volunteers Joe Soldaczewski and Rick Kustich for helping out with today's Ladders to the Outdoors kids fishing event at Beaver Island State Park. Over 50 kids aged 5 to 13 from the Valley Community Center came out to learn how to fish from the best.
