This one is for JoJo. Fishing Tuesday morning, 6/23/26 with Tom Sickler way in front of Strawberry in 20' of crystal clear water tossing a 2 oz. Duke's Dozer spinner bait. Out of nowhere I get a nice fish chasing the lure in the figure eight. I brought this fish around at least four times and then violently accelerated the lure in a last ditch attempt to get to eat. It did. A 44" fatty that was supremely satisfying to get in the eight!…

Hello Team Musky. Unfortunately the kids fishing event scheduled for Wednesday, 8/13/25 at Beaver Island State Park has been cancelled. Thank you to everyone who volunteered for this event and for all who have volunteered so far this year. You do our club proud!  

Many thanks to youth fishing volunteers Joe Soldaczewski and Rick Kustich for helping out with today's Ladders to the Outdoors kids fishing event at Beaver Island State Park. Over 50 kids aged 5 to 13 from the Valley Community Center came out to learn how to fish from the best. The very high winds made bobber fishing difficult but the team persevered and all the kids had a great time. The NMA is supporting two more kids events this year: 7/26/25 and 8/13/25.
