Short Recess crew left Depew at 7:45 in blusterry weather.  Got to the river to see clearing skies.  On the water to find a real brisk wind, whitecaps, slowing down the drift.  Jigged, trolled and casting all for naught.  No follows.  Glad I had a wind shirt.  Water was clear, don't know what the wind will do to the clarity overnight. In the 50's, but felt lower with the wind. Better luck next time.
