Sunday 10/14/2012 Fishing Report

Went out solo today, but I did not get out until 2:00 PM.  Started with trolling in front of Strawberry deep water down stream shallow water up.  There was a guide out with a boat full of guys that looked to be drifting live bait for musky.  I trolled around them as they were drifting where I wanted to troll and I got the impression they did not like that one bit.  They left after two drifts, oh well.  I did see a sail boat in the river heading down the black rock channel with sails out, but no musky.  I also tried some trolling in UN2 and some vertical jigging of a perch swim shad in front of Strawberry, but nothing.  Fished until 6:00 PM.  Weather was crazy, felt like early June.
