Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

The best game to watch in a World Series matchup is Game Seven. You gotta love it! GO TRIBE, GO CUBBIES!!

A game seven of the World Series involving two teams with looooong championship droughts? There is nothing better in sports.

Points of interest and keys to the game:

Corey Kluber will be pitching on back-to-back short rests. If he can keep the Cubs bats quiet until the 6th, the Cubs are in trouble since Indians manager Terry Francona didn't use relief pitcher Andrew Miller yesterday.

Cubs manager, Joe Madden has lost a lot of faith in his pullpen other than Mike Montgomery and Aroldys Chapman. Only the Cubs and their various curses could make a 5 run lead seem tight. I understand last night was an elimination game, but not having a fresh Chapman tonight could really bite the Cubs in the you-know-what.

It is doubtful the Cubs 3, 4 and 5 hitters will go 11 for 17 again tonight, so the bottom of the order will have to some damage. Pitch selection will be key. I am convinced Javier Baez would swing at a rolled pitch.

Having starters John Lester and John Lackey available out of the pullpen can not be viewed exclusively as a plus for the Cubs. Lester would want personal catcher David Ross, a 39 year old journeyman whom you gotta love, would mean Wilson Contrerras would leave the game early. Lackey has a penchant for giving up the long ball.

He hasn't blown a save yet in the playoffs, but Indians closer Cody Allen likes to make 9th innings interesting.

Look for both managers to have very short hooks with their starting pitchers.

Whatever the outcome, two long-suffering fan bases will lose their minds in extasy or agony. I can't wait for this game...

One more... With red-hot Kris Bryant now batting third in the Cubs order, DH Kyle Schwarber will see a lot of fastballs in an effort to keep him off base via free passes. Schwarber could be the key tonight for the Cubs offence. I expect him to launch one tonight.

I remember one night I spent a week in Cleveland.

Scott...good analysis. Better than TV or the internet  I'll be watching how it plays-out tonite. This is better than the dramatics that's being called an election.

What I got most last nite was, like you said, Joe Madden doesn't trust his bullpen. That's not good. You gotta trust the guys you picked to get you out of the hole, even though things go sour. When a boss doesn't back up his people or have confidence in them, the rest of the team will pick that up quickly.

Cubbies haven't won the World Series in 108 years (1908)

the Tribe hasn't won in 68 years (1948)

Tonight, someone will break the curse & someone will continue the curse. Just like fishing. Either you or the fish will break the curse.

7th inning stretch. Everybody needs to stretch except Rizzo.

Tonight's game seven wasn't the best played game or certainly the best managed, but is was everything a baseball fan could have asked for. Congratulations to Carrie who has been a Cubs fan since she was a little girl thanks to her great uncle, and to all of the long-suffering north siders and their now departed great uncles and aunts, parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc., who bled for the Cubbies these last 108 years. Raise the "W" baby bears, you are finally world champions again. I never thought I'd see this day. Maybe a 50-pounder isn't out of the question for me...
