Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 2nd at the Eldridge Club starting at 7pm.
This meeting is the deadline for your Musky Season ballot, so please make sure you bring yours or mail it to our address a few days before. What ballots? (I forget we have a bunch of new members.) With the DEC considering changes to the close of the Great Lakes musky season for the 2014 regulations, these ballots will determine our Club's position. They will be available for download on this site soon, they will be E-mailed to you with your April Newsletter and will mailed by US Mail for those that receive a hard copy. There will be several position pieces on the topic printed in the April "rag".
Our speaker will be our very own reel repair and marine engine genius, Chris Kempf. Chris will discuss drag upgrades, rod tip upgrades for those who use wire line and basic motor maintenance. He will walk us through basic repair for those little problems our motors like to throw at us from time-to-time as well. Sounds good to me.
As if that's not enough, we'll be holding our annual (or semi-annual if we can't procure a speaker over the summer) Swap Meet! As a matter of fact, I am organizing my tackle today and I should have a bunch of stuff for sale really cheap as I prune my gear down to the bare bones for the season. The less choices I have, the better I fish (at least sometimes). Bring your unwanted goodies and purchase someone else's misfit toys. (If you have a Charlie-in-the-box, I'll take it (Mike F., zip it!))
There's still more! I or Tony or Marc will have a release discussion. And since Chris's presentation won't take too long and counting the ballots will, this meeting will be a great opportunity for our newer members to chew the ears off our experienced anglers.
Still more you say? Don't forget to bring your fishing equipment donations for the Lackawanna Middle School Fishing Club. My understanding is the kids in the club don't have much, if any, fishing equipment, so any donation will be greatly appreciated.
Carrie is also looking for empty baskets for future events. Clean out your house and fill ours. Yippie!
I think that's it. I hope to see you all at the meeting on April 2nd.
I'll bring enough lures to open a store,at low prices!
YEAAAA!!!!! THE SWAP MEET IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! QUICK CAMERON, GET THE HAMMER AND DON'T TELL YOUR MOTHER!!! IT"S TIME TO SACRIFICE MR. PIG!!!!!(That's the name of his Piggie bank!!)
Don't kill Mr. Pig! I'll give Cameron a few lures!
