Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all. Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Fished with Bryan and Dave today, a couple of friends that take their whitetail hunting as serious as several hardcore NMA members take their musky fishing. As I listen to their hunting stories the parallels to musky fishing hit you smack in the face. Different quarry, but very similar impact on your life...... in so many ways. Pretty cool.
We hit the water from 7-11am. Bryan lost a big one with me last week, so was amped up. Unfortunately, he finished the day by stating, "I hope the musky gods made note of that waste of time". Dave ended up being the lucky one. Only his second time out for musky and he tasted success. While up front I happened to catch a glance of him quizically staring up at his rod tip. I shouted for him to set the hook and reel.....and don't stop until told. He cranked a 30 incher up and into the net in less than 10 seconds. Pretty cool. Shortly before, on the same drift, I shook off a 35 inch fish boatside. I also had one phantom bite on the following drift. All of our action came between 7 and 8am.
