7/8 Fishing Report
My buddy Brian McCauly who's known as Buckwheat (get your best Spanky jokes warmed up) trolled today from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. At 11:30 I caught a mid-thirty incher on a firetiger Ernie Carrie won last night. A half-hour later Bucky caught his first musky ever, a very nice 42" on a jointed Legend Perchbait off a 6-ounce Jojo Ball. Wheat was pumped to say the least. Both fish were caught pulling downstream in 21-feet of water in UN4. The Ernie was back 95-feet and the Legend was back 40.
I want to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new members who joined at last evenings meeting. Welcome to the team, guys! We have a lot of great anglers in our midst and even more great people.
