9/2 report

Hammered the lower 3am until about 11am today. Trolled until daybreak without a bite. Lost a tank casting a jerkbait rigged tube in devils at first light. Had a couple more follows on shadzilla and mag dawg casted spots above the launch on both us and Canadian side but didn't move a fish. Trolled launch to bar and out in front of the fort and then made 1 casting pass thru the fort launch weed bed with jerkbaits and Bucktails with no success. I'm gonna find a giant somewhere in this freaking system.

Was actually hoping the fish I lost was a fouled king but the absolutely destroyed tube killed that hope.

I have moved and hooked alot of fish shore fishing one particular area of the lower but have yet to land one, it seems they just dont want to eat it. every fish has just been barely hooked on the outside of the mouth with one prong. nothing massive though, all have been 30-42" range. im sure standing on algae covered rocks isnt helping the hooksets either. hoping some cool weather with make them put on the feedbag.

Same class of fish we always found from shore from devils to whirlpool. Lots of 30-40 inch fish but the better ones seem to move off somewhere. See some monsters in may and early June down there but then they seem to follow the shad right out.
