Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

We must be doing something right.  John Lauricello (I have no idea if that's spelled correctly), the owner of Capella's Salons, donated two really long (I'd guess 12-foot) bamboo cane musky rods.  They are about as simple a rod as I can imagine.  They don't have reel seats.  They are not split bamboo.  They have a few steel line guides.  And they are as cool as the other side of the pillow.  I don't know if they have any value, but they're ours.  I'll bring them to the September Meeting and we can figure out what we want to do with them.  If anyone has an idea, or used rods similar to these in the past for teeth, reply to this discussion.

You might want to ask Mark Anderson.  He has an old custom bamboo rod wit reel that was made by someone in Buffalo that is gorgeous.  He may have done some research on it so he might be able to tell you where to find some information.
