I detest America's obsession with the orgy of consumerism that has relegated my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, to that of a staging point for early morning shopping binges.  On the other hand I am always in for a sweet deal on fishing stuff.  How does that old saying go? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em?  What a hypocrite...  I thought we could post any screaming black Friday fishing deals we might come across here.

is this the suit? The link is off the West Marine site which is a bit more expensive. What does the Type III/V rating mean?

When I'm on the water in Nov (not that often anymore) I wear my Type III inflatable. Will I have to wear an additional PFD with this? Is that what the III/V mean?

John, check this out. It describes the different classifications of PDFs. I believe type V's have to be worn to count as a PFD.
