Keep in mind that I am always looking for images for our newsletter; fish, sunsets, sunrises, other anglers fishing, equipment, anything fishing related. I can use them all.  Large, unedited images are best. Thanks.

Hey Guys

I want to clarify what catch rates are.  I was looking at a graph that read "average catch per angling hour" that had numbers like .0002   and .0004   and I think it was a mistake (this was for PA).   A normal catch rat would be like .2 or .009  correct?   Where one fish every 5 hours (would be amazing) or one fish every 12 hours.... etc.

Can anyone clarify?

I get one fish for 5000 hrs at a rate of .0002 (more than 40 hr/wk for over 2 years) and 10,000 hrs for .0004. That would be beyond endangered species and approaching extinction. I get 111.11 hrs for .009. For a rate of one fish per 12 hr the rate would be .0833
